 Chris Davis and friends from Haddenfield NJ had a good day of deep sea fishing; and they also had a great day of offshore catching. Yellowfin tuna up to 45 pounds and blackfins make this good sampling of OBX tuna. Most of the yellowfins hit early to mid morning while the blackfins kept us busy most of the day. This action took place in deeper water about 38 miles SE of the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center on Friday Sept 30. The Oregon Inlet Fishing Center has re-opened after the damage caused by Hurricane Irene; the docks have all been replaced and most of the fuel and gas pumps are back in working order.
