North Carolina Fishing Report, Oregon Inlet Tuna Fishing

Here we go, folks the Sea Note made it back home to the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center after Hurricane Irene wiped out the docks. John Arlington and crew from the Lynchburg Va area came down to the OBX for some fall tuna fishing. The Yellowfin tuna had been plentiful the day before; however, it was not the case on Saturday. The blackfins gave us some light tackle action, and so did the Blue Marlin. We went one for two on Blue Marlin. John caught one about 125 pounds and the one got a away was about 300 pounds; not bad for October. Thanks again John, James and Ronnie see you for some striper action around the Holidays.
