| Oregon Inlet Tuna Fishing |
Sea Note made it out to the gulfstream on Thursday, Dec 29 when the OBX weather gave us a break from the strong winds. The tuna were yellowfin and blackfin which were scattered in the warm water of 71 degrees that was 34 miles East of the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center. We also had some action from a mako shark that broke the leader after it ate one of the tuna. This was followed by a 25 pound wahoo that we did land along with a double header of tuna.
Thanks and Happy New Year to anglers Crae, Jim and Mike Davis; father and son team of Brian McRoberts and returning angler Bob McCullum. |
