 The first day of spring on the Outer Banks saw the long winter finely give us a break. The Bluefin tuna fishing was good for Dave Shaw from St Michaels MD and his crew. Bunky Dulin from Cordova MD landed a 122 pound bluefin on stand up jigging tackle while Joe fought and lost a fish about 200 pounds next to the boat. The average fighting time on 80 pound tackle was about 20 minutes on this class of fish inwhich the crew released 6 more. |
