North Carolina Fishing Report, Oregon Inlet Tuna fishing

Andy Anderson and his crew from Va Beach came down to the Outer Banks on May 21 and practiced catch and release on about 22 school size Bluefin tuna. Brain Petrayskas, Jim Heffernan and Todd Thompson all released 3 tuna a piece. This photo is of a nautilus which attached it self to a lure while we were fighting several tuna on light tackle. I have fished for thirty years and its the first one I have seen and I am sure the tuna where feeding on them.
